Solar power system – Two tented camps in Katavi and Ruaha National park

This year in June Power Providers have upgraded the solar power systems for the client’s permanent tented camps in Katavi and Ruaha National parks, as outlined below

Tented camp, Katavi National Park, June 2021

System criteria

This solar power system is designed and installed with the purpose to supply power to a tented camp in Katavi National Park. The system is hybridized with a generator. It supplies power to the guest house tents, restaurant (fridges, freezers, lightings, phone charging, etc), office (computer, printers, lighting, etc), and a kitchen (fridge, freezer, blender, etc).

Tented camp – Ruaha National Park, June 2021

System criteria

This solar power system is designed and installed to supply power to a tented camp at Ruaha National Park. The system supplies power to two guest’s restaurants (fridges, freezers, lightings, phone charging, etc), an office (computer, printers, lighting, etc), and a kitchen (fridge, freezer, blender, etc), and staff quarters.
