Emmanuel International| Solar Water Pump
The installed 5.5kW ground mounted solar array produces 83m3 of water a day (in the least sunny month of January) from a balancing and sump tank to a final delivery tank over 4 kilometers away. From there, water is distributed to several distribution points in the village of Lumpembe Lwasenga and overflow from the tanks goes to nearby farms. It is a magical feeling to flick the switch on the pump controller and to see so much water appearing so far away.
